LEWISTON — Frank Sanborn Riley, 86, of Lewiston, died peacefully Saturday, Dec. 1, at Russell Park Manor with his loving wife, Mary, by his side. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He was born Dec. 30, 1925, the son of Frank William and Laura Mae (Sanborn) Riley. Frank was educated in Sabattus elementary schools, Edward Little High School and graduated from the Auburn Maine School of Commerce. Frank was self-employed and was a long-time member of the

Masons.

He greatly enjoyed spending time in Sabattus at the lake with his family. He will always be remembered for his wonderful smile and friendly manner.

Frank is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary, of Lewiston; two daughters, Patricia Layman (Barclay) and Victoria McLoughlin (Kevin) of Auburn; four grandchildren, Jasmine, Jacob, Brooks and Isabelle; a sister, Sylvia of Auburn; and his good friend, Ed Sands of Poland.

Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by a sister, Joyce Salk.
