FARMINGTON — A workshop on how to develop a pricing strategy for small or home-based specialty food products is offered Thursday by the University of Maine Cooperative Extension.
The workshop is free and takes place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dec. 6 at the Cooperative Extension’s Farmington office at 138 Pleasant St. Registration is requested.
The Pricing Your Food Products workshop provides an overview of what is involved in successfully developing a pricing strategy. The highlights include a discussion of what is a profit, what the market is willing to pay and record keeping for developing prices.
UMaine Cooperative Extension’s Dr. James C. McConnon, economics and small business specialist, will be the key presenter.
