LEWISTON — Laura E. Blanchette, 53, of Lisbon Falls, died Dec. 1, at Central Maine Medical Center, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born Aug. 17, 1959, in Portland, to Lester S. Emerson and Margaret Berry-Coffin.

She enjoyed yard sales and flea markets and looking for the good deals.

She graduated from Brunswick High school and worked for Amenity Manor and Dollar Tree, both of Topsham, until her illness.

She is survived by her husband, Pierre Blanchette Jr.; and her son, Stephen Blanchette of Lisbon Falls.

She was predeceased by her parents.
