LEWISTON — The Kiwanis Club of Lewiston-Auburn hosted Phil Dubois, CEO of Second Best Ministries, at a recent meeting.
Dubois, through his nonprofit, has taken over the program previously known as the Heart Gallery, a widely popular means to get the word out to the public about literally dozens of children available for adoption within the state.
Dubois detailed the sobering statistics of foster care and the future expectations for the children who have no family of their own.
