Children from Temple Shalom Preschool in Auburn spent a fall day at Wallingford’s. While there they picked apples, enjoyed a tractor ride, played in the extensive play area, fed the animals and snacked on apple cider doughnuts and cider. The children went on the field trip to enhance the weekly theme of “Apples.” During the week they made projects using and about apples. During the trip the tractor driver recognized director/lead teacher Claudette Turcotte as his preschool teacher from 17 years ago at Temple Shalom.
