Promising newcomers: Boys: Sophomore — Andrew Wilcox; Freshmen — Stephen Sylvester, Wyatt Simoneau, Camden Noll, Nick Esty; Girls: Freshmen — Paige Butterfield, Destiny White, Carly Noll .

Outlook: This year will be Spruce’s first year fielding a girls’ team, which will be led by Gats, who returns after missing last season with a wrist injury. With three seniors back to anchor the team, the boys should be solid once again. Butterfield and Timberlake finished top six in the Skimeister standings in Class B last year.
