FARMINGTON — Franklin Memorial Hospital has added a third location for its patients to receive diagnostic X-rays on the second floor of the Franklin Health Medical Arts Center (MAC Radiology) on the Franklin Memorial Hospital campus.

The new digital X-ray service operates Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For maximum convenience, walk-in services are provided, although patients can make appointments if preferred by calling Franklin Health Orthopaedics at 778-9001. Patients must have a physician’s order to receive the service.

In addition to the new site, Franklin Memorial Hospital also offers X-ray services at the Androscoggin Valley Medical Arts Center at 21 Main St., Livermore Falls, and in the hospital’s radiology department on the first floor, which is staffed 24 hours a day.

All X-rays are interpreted by a radiologist who sends the results to the ordering physician.
