AUBURN — The Auburn Community Concert Band, under the direction of Milt Simon, will present its 31st holiday concert on Wednesday, Dec. 19, at Bates College.

The free, 75-minute performance will begin at 7 p.m. at the Olin Arts Center. Seating is limited to 300 people.

The 40-member band is made up of volunteer musicians from 12 central and coastal Maine communities, who range in age from 17 to 87. The group will perform traditional and contemporary holiday favorites, including a medley of songs celebrating Hanukkah.

In lieu of admission, concertgoers will have an opportunity to drop a donation into the Salvation Army kettle in the lobby.
