PARIS — A selectmen’s meeting set for Monday night was postponed to Tuesday due to the weather.

The town office closed at 2:30 p.m. due to ice and slush, which made driving hazardous Monday.

The board will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the town hall.

Selectmen were set to appoint newly hired Town Manager Amy Bernard as treasurer, tax collector and road commissioner, duties included in the Paris town manager’s position.

Town Clerk Elizabeth Knox, who has served as acting town manager since former Town Manager Phil Tarr left, has been acting tax collector and road commissioner, while town bookkeeper Marjorie Risica has served as interim treasurer.

The board will also discuss a pole permit on Hooper Ledge. An executive session is scheduled to review an offer on town real estate for sale.
