PORTLAND — The State Theatre will present a girls-night-out performance with “Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody” on Tuesday, Jan. 29. 

The new musical brings the naughty fun of the best-selling book “Fifty Shades of Grey,”by British author E. L. James, to life. The spoof revolves around a 22-year-old virgin who has an affair with a young billionaire businessman with extreme sexual desires.

The show will begin at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. for drinks. A cast meet-and-greet session will follow the performance. 

“Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody” is not associated with, nor authorized by, James or Vintage Press. 

Tickets for reserved seating are $32.50, $27.50. Tickets may be purchased by calling 800-745-3000, visiting the Cumberland County Civic Center box office or logging on to www.statetheatreportland.com. The State Theatre is at 609 Congress St. Material is not suitable for children.
