Kids’ pageant, Dec. 24 service

MEXICO — At the 10 a.m. worship service on Sunday, Dec. 23, the Sunday School children of the Mexico Congregational Church, United Church of Christ (the “Green Church”), will present a Christmas pageant during the Family Message time. The choir will sing a special Advent anthem, “When He Comes.”

A traditional Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be held at the church at 11 p.m. on Dec. 24. It will be a service of readings and carols, ending at midnight with everyone lighting a candle from the Christ candle and joining in singing “Silent Night.”

Mexico High Class of 1959

RUMFORD — The Mexico High School Class of 1959 will meet at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 2, at Route 2 Diner.

Spouses and significant others are welcome.
