PORTLAND — Bruce W. Mitchell, 63, of Mechanic Falls, died Dec. 16, at Maine Medical Center.

Bruce was born Sept. 03, 1949, the son of Wendell and Phyllis Mitchell of Mechanic Falls.

Bruce worked in the woods as a logger and was a mechanic. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, photography, cooking, baking, Facebook and spending time with his grandchildren.

Bruce is survived by his wife, Carmen; three daughters, Tonia and husband, Robert, Mary and her husband, Ray and Jenny and her husband, Robert; two sons, David, and Larry and his wife, April; 16 grandchildren;

and two brothers, Allen and Donald.
