TURNER — Kristen Anderson threw in 32 points and hit four 3-pointers as Leavitt toppled Maranacook, 62-39, in a girls’ basketball game Tuesday night.
The Hornets jumped out to 36-16 lead at halftime when Leavitt piled up 23 points in the second quarter.
Meagan Dow scored 14 points for the Hornets.
Monmouth 64, Winthrop 16
WINTHROP — Undefeated Monmouth (3-0) held winless Winthrop (0-4) to single-digit scoring for all four quarters as the Mustangs trampled the Ramblers, 64-16, in a girls’ basketball game Tuesday.
Sierra Spencer led all scorers with 13 points and Kylie Kemp scored eight points.
Catherine Ouellette and Shauna Carlson each scored six points for the Ramblers.
Oxford Hills 49, Brunswick 23
BRUNSWICK — Abbie Eastman dropped in four 3-pointers as Oxford Hills waltzed past Brunswick, 49-23, in a girls’ basketball Tuesday.
The Vikings kept Brunswick scoreless in the first quarter and jumped out to a 22-8 lead and never looked back.
Liz Henshaw was Brunswick’s leading scorer with six points.
Boothbay 42, Oak Hill 29
WALES — Abby McLellan and Alex Clark each scored 13 points to lead Boothbay to a 42-29 win over Oak Hill in girls’ basketball Tuesday.
The Seahawks broke open a 7-6 lead with a 21-9 second quarter.
Meagan Crosby led the Raiders with six points.
Cony 64, Lewiston 33
AUGUSTA — Josie Lee scored a game-high 21 points and Cony dominated both ends of the floor to defeat Lewiston, 64-33, in KVAC girls’ basketball action.
Erica Quirion and Haley Quirion scored 13 points apiece for the Rams (2-2) while combining to hit four of Cony’s nine 3-pointers on the night. Kristin Blais scored 13 points to lead the Blue Devils (1-3).
Lake Region 47, Gray-NG 41
GRAY — Lake Region rallied from a three-point deficit with a 20-11 fourth-quarter run to pull out a 47-41 win over Gray-New Gloucester in MVC girls’ basketball action Tuesday.
Sarah Hancock and Tiana-Jo Carter led the undefeated Lakers (5-0) with 10 points each. The Patriots (3-1) were paced by veteran Maria Valente with 20 points and six rebounds, while Haylee Cote scored 14 points and hauled down seven rebounds.
EL 72, Erskine 34
AUBURN — After jumping out to a 13-point advantage in the first quarter, Edward Little easily waltzed to a 72-34 romp over Erskine in a KVAC girls’ basketball tilt Tuesday.
Ashlee Arnold led the Red Eddies (3-1) with 24 points, including six shots from beyond the arc. Kory Norcross chipped in with 14 points, while Kate Sawyer added 13.
Erskine (0-4) was paced by Bridget Humphrey with a solid 20-point effort, the only player to reach double figures.
