EAST POLAND — A wonderful husband and dad, Guy W. Hart Jr., passed away at the age of 64, on Sunday, Dec. 16, at home, with his family by his side.

He was born in Lynn, Mass., a son of Guy W. and Mildred (Clarke) Hart Sr. He married Linda Hart on Sept. 16, 1967, together they raised four children.

In early years, he grew up and worked on his family’s dairy farm in Sabattus and Poland. He founded Tri State Rubbish and Recyclables Unlimited, which he owned and operated for many years.

He was involved in the family business of car sales at Hart’s Classic’s Auto of Oxford and had several real estate ventures including Poland Country Village Mobile Home Park.

Guy enjoyed his Harleys and Classic cars. He also enjoyed traveling and family lobster bakes at camp. He was an avid sportsman and every November was his special time with his boys. His family meant the world to him and in our eyes he was the best husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

He is survived by and will be sadly missed by his wife of 45 years, Linda Hart; daughter, Jane Horrigan and husband, Sean; son, Jason Hart; son, Joshua Hart and wife, Jennifer; and daughter, Jaime Hart; eight grandchildren, Hannah, Riley, Sierra, Chase, Kailey, Krewze, Grady and Gavin; sister, Joan Crowell and husband, Phil; brother-in-law, Roger Canuel; as well as many nieces, nephews, close family and friends.

He was predeceased by sister, Jean Canuel; parents, Guy W. Hart Sr. and Mildred Gendron; stepfather, Antonio Gendron; brothers, Buddy Hart and Raymond Hart. He will remain always on our minds and forever in our hearts.
