ALF is hot, Teddy Ruxpin is not. “ALF (a brown, fuzzy, stuffed creature modeled after the puppet whose NBC television program bears his name) is really popular,” said Gary Bricker, manager of Tons of Toys ’n More on Center St., Auburn. “It’s really for the 8- to 14-year-old age group, but people of all ages are buying them.” They come in three models — stuffed, talking and wisecracking. Also popular is Captain Power, G.I. Joe dolls and Nintendo electronic game sets.
