PARIS — “Unexpected Gifts of Christmas” is the sermon title by Silver Moore-Leamon for the Sunday, Dec. 23, worship service of the First Universalist Church on Pine Street.
There will be seasonal music as well for the 10 a.m. service. Music is under the direction of Donna Hurd and Sunday School is under the direction of Renee Wales.
Coffee and fellowship will follow the service and all are welcome. Childcare is available.
A candlelight service will be held on Christmas Eve starting at 6:30 p.m. Christmas carols, selections from the choir, a flute solo by Renee Wales and seasonal readings by church members will be part of the program. Marilyn Hammond will direct the program.
All are invited to attend the special Christmas Eve service. The First Universalist Church is wheelchair accessible.
