I agree, absolutely, with William Van Tassel (letter, Dec. 21). He hit the nail on the head. Everything he wrote is exactly what is wrong with this country.

We must start with the parents and the government and the movie makers.

Everyone should copy his letter and post it everywhere, in large print. All of us need to follow what he wrote.

If we keep looking at the world with rose-colored glasses, we will eventually destroy ourselves.

What a great letter. I could not have written a letter so well worded.

As for gun collectors who like those assault weapons, I wish they would move to another planet. In the next election, I shall not vote for those who back the NRA.
