WILTON — Public memorial services celebrating the life of Edith Noyes Masterman of Wilton were held Friday, Dec. 28, at 2 p.m. from the Wilton United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Laura E. Church officiating. Therese Therrien was the organist. Congregational hymns included “Blessed Assurance” and “It Is Well With My Soul.” A nephew, Craig Lowell, offered two readings. Scripture reading was Isaiah 40:28-31 and a reading from the Gospel John 14: selected verses. Following services, all were invited to attend a comfort reception in the church vestry, hosted by the UMW. Spring committal services will be held Friday, May 3, at 4 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, Wilton.  Arrangements were in the care of the Wiles Remembrance Center, 136 High St., Wilton.
