ROCKLAND —  Kristen Anderson scored 43 points, but it was her length-of-the-court pass to Mariah Treadwell that set up the game-winning layup and a 67-65 victory for Leavitt in a girls’ KVAC battle of unbeatens Friday night.
Oceanside came out of a time out with the ball with 10 seconds left, but missed its own shot at a game-winner. Anderson pulled down the rebound and found Treadwell streaking down the court for the buzzer-beating layup.
Anderson finished with six three-pointers, while Treadwell chipped in with 11 points for the Hornets (6-0). Kennadi Grover led Oceanside (5-1) with 21 points while Hannah Plourde added 17 points.
Rangeley 67, Valley 18
RANGELEY —  Tori Letarte scored a game-high 21 points as Rangeley defeated Valley, 67-18, in EWC girls’ basketball action.
Abby Abbott added 17 points for the Lakers (3-0), while Blayke Morin turned in a solid all-around game with 10 points, 11 rebounds and six steals. Sydney Vincent led the Cavaliers (2-3) with six points.
Lawrence 44,
Mt. Blue 40
FARMINGTON — Dominique Lewis went 5-for-6 at the foul line in the fourth quarter and scored 10 points as Lawerence shook off stubborn Mt. Blue, 44-40, in a girls’ basketball game Friday.
Paige Belanger also scored 10 points and Nia Irving added 14 for Lawrence (4-2). For Mt. Blue (3-2), Maranda Nicely threw in the game-high 17 points.

Oceanside 62,
Leavitt 40
TURNER — Isaiah Patterons threw in 18 poitns and Shea Davenport added 15 as Oceanside swept away Leavitt with a 62-40 victory in a boys’ basketball game Friday.
For the Hornets (2-4), Andrew Middleton scored 13 points and knocked down two 3-pointers.
Valley 105,
Rangeley 22
RANGELEY — Five players scored in double digits and Valley’s defense held Rangeley to single-digit scoring throughout the contest as the Cavaliers (4-1) cruised to a 105-22 victory over the winless Lakers (0-3) in a boys’ basketball game Friday night.
Carrington Miller scaored the game-high 23 points. Colling Miller scored 19 and Cody Laweryson added 11 for the Cavs.
For Rangeley, A.J. Elms scored 10 points.
Mtn. Valley 68, Telstar 43
BETHEL — Jake Therault scored 22 points and Mtn. Valley dominated the first three quarters to cruise to a 68-43 win over Telstar.
Dom Haines added 13 points and Sean Murphy 10 points for the Falcons (4-1).
Nick Mills scored 22 points to lead the Rebels (1-3).
