MONMOUTH — Monmouth Community Players will hold auditions for its spring production of “Fiddler on the Roof” on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 14-16, at Cumston Hall.

The heart-warming musical set in the Russian village of Anatevka will be directed by Ray Fletcher. There are roles for eight male principals, seven female principals and a chorus of 12 (adults and youths), as well as many villagers.

Auditions will be held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 14 and 6:30 p.m. on Jan. 15-16 in the lower library at Cumston Hall. Auditioners may prepare a song from the show, but sheet music and an accompanist will be provided. Auditions for principal roles will be from the script. For more information, call Fletcher at 620-6864 or visit www.monmouthcommunityplayers.com.
