BRUNSWICK — Anthony Frank “Tony” Cimato, 39, of Yarmouth, and Lisbon Falls, died Dec. 28, at Parkview Hospital after a long and courageous battle with a neurological disease.

He was born in Lewiston, Feb. 17, 1973, the son of the late Anthony Cimato and his mother who survives him, Mary Ellen Delorme Gagnon.

He was graduate of Lisbon High School and attended Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, for two years. Tony had a passion for Madonna, animals of all types, movies, film and Godzilla.

He was employed prior to his illness for the McKesson Corp. as a medical recorder in Lewiston.

He is survived by his mother of Lisbon Falls, Mary Ellen “Chicky” and her husband, Ron Gagnon; two brothers, Kevin Funk of Lisbon and Nicholas Cimato of New York; two sisters, Patricia Mattox and her husband, Jason, of St. George and Katherine Sirois and her husband, Lyndon, of Minot; four nieces; three nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins; and his beloved pet shitzu, “Misha.”
