I would like to “thank” the person who took my wallet from a local restaurant in Turner Dec. 8. The wallet was later found and returned to me, without the large amount of cash it had contained.

The only thing I hope for is that someone was in a great need of money to help her family with food or heat.

One good thing — my driver’s license and personal photos were still in the wallet, but it was not a good way to start the new year.
