LEWISTON — Annette M. Easter, 77, of Dixfield, died early morning Sunday, Jan. 20, at the Central Maine Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 10, 1935, in Rumford, a daughter of Arthur and Marjorie (Noble) Bouchard. She attended local schools, graduating from Stephens High School.

As a young woman, she worked at JA Thurston’s wood mill in Rumford.

Annette was truly an outdoorswoman. She enjoyed all aspects including hunting, fishing, trapping and generally working the land. Of these activities, probably her greatest pleasure was trapping, which she did alongside her companion of 50 years, George Easter, whom she married, Dec. 4, 1998. She also was truly a lover of all animals, especially cats.

She is survived by two siblings, Rene Bouchard of Canton and Ted Bouchard and his wife, Shirley, of Chicopee, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, George, Oct. 11, 2006; and siblings, Hazel, Wilfred, Arthur, Edward and Emile.

Words of condolence and tribute may be shared with her friends on her tribute wall at www.wilesrc.com.
