LEWISTON — Arthur E. Duchemin, 59, of Mechanic Falls, formerly of Bull Run Road in Greene, passed away from this material world on Jan. 19, while surrounded by his wife, Suzanne, best friend, David Giasson, and a circle of family and friends. He fought a courageous battle over multiple health challenges.
He was born in Haverhill, Mass., June 1, 1953, to Fred and Lumina Jackson Duchemin. Arthur worked for many years as a transport specialist. He loved spending time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed by everyone whom his life touched.
He leaves behind many; including his wife, Suzanne; a sister and her family; two half-brothers; three half-sisters and their families; seven stepchildren, who he loved dearly; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many endeared friends.
Arthur was predeceased by his mother and stepfather.
