Rosie Snyder, a Bates College student, looks at a wrecker approaching to haul away the car she was driving, right, when it collided with an SUV, left, driven by John Dobson of Auburn on Thursday afternoon. Snyder said she was driving down High Street in Auburn toward the downtown and did not see the stop sign at Elm Street. When she went through it, she hit Dobson’s vehicle, Snyder said. Neither driver was seriously injured, but the vehicles had to be towed.
