HEBRON — The wedding of Gretchen Conn and Jeremy Saar was held at 4 p.m. on July 28 at the Greenwood Mountain Inn in Hebron. Pastor David Bochtler officiated the ceremony.
Mrs. Saar is the daughter of Douglas and Heidi Conn of Turner. Mr. Saar is the son of David and Anna Saar also of Turner.
The bride wore an ivory gown highlighted with beads and sequins. Her veil was a fingertip length with beaded fringe.
The three bridesmaids included Megan and Sara Stubbs, cousins of the bride and Katie Conn, sister-in-law. Niece Amelia Saar was the flower girl.
The three groomsmen included Justin Saar, best man and brother of the bridegroom, Ryan Bruno, cousin of the bridegroom, and Wayne Conn, brother-in-law.
The ceremony and reception took place at the Greenwood Mountain Inn and concluded with a fireworks display. The couple has planned a honeymoon for January in the Caribbean.
The bride is attending graduate school at the University of Nevada, Reno, for a degree in social work.
The bridegroom is an operations and equipment manager at the Barrick Western Power Plant in McCarron, Nev.
The Saars reside in Reno, Nev.
