LEWISTON — Mr. and Mrs. Richard Shaw and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Gutshall are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Cassandra L. Gutshall, to Gregory R. Begin, son of Raymond and Susan Begin of Auburn.

Miss Gutshall is a 2004 graduate of Lewiston High School and a 2006 graduate of Central Maine Community College in Auburn with an associate degree in business administration/management. She is employed as a receptionist at the office of Kurt M. Oswald, MD, in Auburn.

Mr. Begin is a 2003 graduate of Edward Little High School and a 2005 graduate of Washington County Community College with an associate degree in applied science in heavy equipment operation and maintenance. He is employed as an equipment operator for K & K Construction.

The wedding will be held on Oct. 5 in Auburn.
