RUMFORD — Hope Association will hold its first Hope Association scrapbooking/crafting benefit from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at 85 Lincoln Ave. It will be a crafting day for anyone to get away. Participants are invited to bring whatever they haven’t had a chance to complete…RUMFORD — Hope Association will hold its first Hope Association scrapbooking/crafting benefit from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday, March 16, at 85 Lincoln Ave.
It will be a crafting day for anyone to get away. Participants are invited to bring whatever they haven’t had a chance to complete: photo albums, cards, stamping, jewelry, rug braiding, quilting, a Christmas card project for next year.
There will be lots of crop/crafting space with cushion chairs. Attendees are welcome to bring their own comfy chair, additional pillow or small folding table. Breakfast, lunch, supper, beverages and snacks are included. Participants may also bring their own snacks and beverages. Internet access and a microwave and refrigerator are available.
There will be door prizes, silent auction, swap table and 50/50.
Registration deadline is March 12. Seating arrangements are on a first come, first serve basis.
Early bird registration by Feb. 28 is $35. After March 1 the cost is $40.
To register, send name, address, phone, email, seating preferences and food allergies. Indicate if electricity is needed; those requesting an electrical outlet will need to provide a power cord and/or power strip.
Those unable to attend who would like to donate may make checks payable to Hope Association-Scrapbooking/Crafting and mail to Hope Association, 85 Lincoln Ave., Rumford ME 04276.
Proceeds and donations go directly to services provided to individuals receiving support from Hope Association.
