RUMFORD – Funeral services for Hector J. Dayon were conducted on Monday at Holy Savior Parish, Rumford, with the Rev. Robert Vaillancourt officiating. The organist was Mark Belanger and the songs sung were “Ave Maria,” Hosea” and “Fly Like a Bird.” The gifts were brought to the altar by Keith Dayon and Shawn Murphy. Readings were done by Jeff Dayon, Ryan Dayon and Angie Arsenault. The eulogy was written and read by son, Jeff Dayon. Full military honors were conducted. A reception was held in the church hall after the service, with a lunch served by the Daughters of Isabella.
