I woke up recently with a thought in my head. I have no idea where it came from.

I know abortion is a touchy subject in these times, but there is a part of abortion I don’t think anyone ever gave a thought to.

Abortion has been legal for how many years now? I think since the ’70s, if memory serves me correctly. I wonder about all those would-be people who have been taken away from the world.

There might have been a doctor who found a cure for cancer; a scientist who found a new form of energy that would not pollute; a president who helped to bring peace to this world.

I have no idea why the idea was put in my head. The idea may have come from a higher power. I think it’s not politically correct to say, but I will anyway — I think my father in heaven gave me that thought.

I hope others will think about that and not be offended.
