PARIS — The Oxford County Commission is set to consider a petition by a group of Hanover residents on whether the town should maintain their road through the winter.

The meeting begins at 9 a.m. at the Oxford County Courthouse.

In 2003, Hanover selectmen voted to close South Shore Road to winter maintenance. Residents of the road, which follows the south shore of Howard Pond, have petitioned the town and have taken the matter to the county commission. Commissioners are set to consider the petition at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday.

The commission is also set to discuss casino revenue and maintenance of Tyler Road in Mason Township.
