STATEWIDE — Over 2,500 Maine high school students from 77 high schools are expected to compete in the 82nd annual Maine Drama Festival from March 8-9. At nine regional competitions around the state schools will present plays ranging from the classics to original student-written plays. Winners from each regional will be selected by a panel of judges to advance to the state finals on March 23-24. For more information, visit www.mainedramacouncil.com.
