KINGFIELD — The Kingfield POPS Festival of the Arts is seeking artists and artisans for an outdoor sale of original art to be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 29.The show features fine art, food and live music.
Artists and artisans in all media are invited to apply. Booth space is limited so early application is encouraged. The deadline is May 25; exhibitors will be notified of confirmation and space assignments by June 15. Event takes place rain or shine.
With up to 2,000 people or more expected to attend the Kingfield POPS evening concert, many attendees come early to explore the area and the daytime show affords the exhibitors a great way to connect with customers, said Pat Johnson, the arts festival organizer.
The Festival of the Arts is part of the Kingfield POPS annual summer music and arts festival. On June 29, the POPS will present a concert featuring Bangor Symphony Orchestra conducted by Lucas Richman. Tickets go on sale in late April. Special guest will be the Sultans of String; other musical acts to be announced.
