LEWISTON — Legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan is scheduled to appear at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in April, according to a new tour schedule posted on his website.

The performance is scheduled for Wednesday, April 10, but no tickets are yet available online.

A representative of the Colisee has said details on ticket pricing and availability will be released Monday.

According to bobdylan.com, the 11-time Grammy Award-winning artist will appear at the Colisee with the Los Angeles-based folk rock quartet Dawes — made up of brothers Taylor and Griffin Goldsmith, Wylie Gelber and Tay Strathairn — as part of Dylan’s U.S. Spring Tour.

Dawes confirms that date on its site.

The tour begins in Buffalo, N.Y., on April 5, and continues in Amherst, Mass., Kingston, R.I., and Lowell, Mass., before coming to Lewiston. The tour is scheduled to stop at 13 locations, ending in Bowling Green, Ohio, on April 21.

Dylan has performed at the Colisee a couple of times, most recently in 2008 to a near sell-out crowd.

Dylan was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988, with special mention of five of his songs that shaped rock ‘n’ roll: “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “The Times They Are a-Changin,” each released in 1963; “Like a Rolling Stone” and “Subterranean Homesick Blues,” each released in 1965; and “Tangled Up in Blue,” released in 1975.

Five of his recordings have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame to honor recordings that have “qualitative or historical significance,” including “Mr. Tambourine Man,” released in 1965, and the album “Blonde on Blonde,” released in 1966.
