FARMINGTON — A new business is in town and is “cutting the ribbon” at 4:30 p.m. on March 14. Sallie Tyler, owner of the Paper White Room, will be on site to welcome residents to her newly opened shop above the Calico Patch in Farmington. The Paper White Room handles event planning, either providing space at their downtown location or bringing the party elsewhere, and provides an attendant so the hosts can relax and enjoy the event.

Tyler said she plans to work with customers to develop their own event, providing package pricing so hosts know exactly how much they can expect to pay. They provide furniture and linens, including children’s furniture, restroom facilities at their downtown location and “everything you need, even candles for the cake.”

The Paper White Room can be reached at 207-860-9377 or through its website at www.thepaperwhiteroom.com. The ribbon cutting will be followed by a Business After Hours at 5 p.m.
