1925 – 2013

BRIDGTON— Clara H. Thurston of Fryeburg passed away Feb. 28 at Bridgton Hospital.

She was born to Frank and Evelyn Hill at the family home in South Chatham, N.H., on Oct. 23, 1925.

Clara graduated from Fryeburg Academy in 1943.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Harold Thurston Jr.; their son, Gregory and his companion, Terri Johnson; a grandson, Forrest and his wife, Heather; and two granddaughters, Paige and Natalie. Clara is also survived by a sister, Jean Bryant and her husband, Neil. She leaves behind a greatly extended family of nieces, nephews and cousins.
