AUBURN — The Corporate and Community Services Department at Central Maine Community College will host a workshop on Office Ergonomics in partnership with the MEMIC Center for Workplace Safety. The course is designed to provide professionals with knowledge and skills to prevent workplace injuries.

Participants will gain an understanding of the basic science of ergonomics and how to develop and implement an appropriate plan, including a stretching program. Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to identify and correct hazards at a workstation to prevent injuries.

The workshop will be held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. March 13. The cost is $49 and includes all materials. Participants are eligible to receive 0.3 CEUs.
