AUBURN — The Androscoggin Chapter of the Maine Women’s Network invites members, guests and the general public to its March 13 meeting at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Each meeting provides meaningful networking opportunities for attendees to market themselves and their businesses.

Mary LaFontaine, manager of the Lewiston CareerCenter, will speak on women and the ever-changing environment of work and the job market. She has 25 years of experience in the private and public sectors.

In addition to her current position at the CareerCenter, she serves on the Auburn City Council and teaches at the University of Southern Maine’s Lewiston-Auburn College in Lewiston. She also serves on several boards, including the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce, College for ME-Androscoggin, the Auburn Public Library and the United Somali Women of Maine.

Lunch will begin promptly at 11:30 a.m. The cost, $16 for members and $20 for nonmembers, includes everything. Nonmembers are always welcome. Members are encouraged to register their guests in advance for the member rate.
