POLAND — A Norway man was charged Monday with armed robbery of the Big Apple convenience store at routes 121 and 26 on Friday.

Todd McCrary, 22, of 85 Parsons Road got away with an undisclosed amount of money, Lt. Glenn Holt of the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Office said in a press release Monday.

According to Holt, at 12:31 a.m. Friday, a man entered the store at routes 26 and 121 and robbed the cashier at knifepoint before leaving on foot. Investigators and patrol deputies worked throughout the weekend before arresting McCrary on a Class A robbery charge at the Sheriff’s Department in Auburn.

McCrary is being held at the Androscoggin County Jail on $10,000 cash bail.
