BANGOR — Michael J. Dufour has joined Cross Insurance, a subsidiary of Cross Financial Corp. He will be vice president of commercial lines at Cross’s Augusta branch.

Dufour will manage the Commercial Lines Department in Augusta as well as assume responsibility of Risk Management Services for select clients.

He was with Willis of Northern New England, formerly the Dunlap Agency, for 26 years, working in the Lewiston-Auburn area the past 13. He rose from commercial lines account executive to vice president.

Dufour, his wife and family have lived in the Winthrop area for the past 26 years.
