PORTLAND — Margaret “Peggy” G. Mason, 62, of South Paris passed away on Monday, March 4, at Maine Medical Center after a courageous battle with many illnesses.

She was born in Lisbon Falls, July 20, 1950, the daughter of Millard and Lenorma Mitchell Shorette. She graduated from Lisbon High School in 1968. She had been employed as a medical secretary.

She loved puzzles, quilting, sewing and reading, but especially spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Mason; her mother; her daughter, Kelley Mason and her husband, Stewart Jr.; her son, Chris Stilphen and his girlfriend, Judy; grandchildren, Jonathan, Adam, Amber, Alex, Samantha, Dillion, Daniela, Krystle, Matthew, Mitchell, Kimberly, Maximus and Stella-Moon; a great-granddaughter, Bethany; two sisters, Cindy Stilphen and her husband, Ike and Dawn Shorette and her husband, Reggie; two brothers, Joey Shorette and his wife, Denise and Michael Shorette and his wife, Sherrie; and other family including aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father.
