RUMFORD — A benefit bash fundraiser has been planned for Nate Clark, who had a snowmobile accident and is paralyzed from the waist down.

The fundraiser is set for Saturday, March 23, at 49 Franklin St. While tickets for the dance sold out in three days, the public is invited to a ticket raffle and 50/50 raffle from 2 to 6 p.m.

Tickets for the 50/50 are available in advance by calling David and Dawna Gagnon, 562-7234; Jan McKenna, 562-4562; Terri Cox, 357-8594; Barbara Chow, 562-8989; or David Berry, 562-8462. The cost is $1 for one ticket, $5 for seven or $10 for 15.

Clark suffered a spinal cord injury during a hill climb race at Black Mountain. At this time he is undergoing a grueling therapy regimen at the Shepherd Center in Atlanta. The benefit will help him with medical bills and other expenses.

The dance from 9 p.m. to midnight featuring music by Scot and Cindy Grassette was limited to 250 tickets, all of which have been sold.

Donations may be sent to Nate Clark c/o Michele Wood, 48 Webber Brook Road, Oxford, ME 04270.
