BANGOR — Eileen M. Schoonmaker, 64, of Stetson, died March 4, at a Bangor hospital.

She was born March 22, 1948, in Dexter, a daughter of Lionel and Florice (Gilbert) Laferriere. She graduated from Dexter Regional High School. Eileen had been employed as a hair dresser and an office manager. She developed a web site for crocheting and made many crocheted sets for neo-natal infants free of charge.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Tim Schoonmaker of Stetson; her devoted daughter, Jennifer and husband, Jonathan Pratt, of Hebron; a brother, Allen and wife, Cherie Laferriere, of Hagerstown, Md.; three sisters, Lana Robichaud of Bangor, Elizabeth and husband, Lauren Hebert, of Dixfield and Margaret and husband, John Houghton, of Ft. Fairfield; two grandchildren, Elizabeth and Noah Pratt; and many nieces and nephews.
