PORTLAND — National artist The Pete Kilpatrick Band will play at a fundraising concert at 7 p.m. Friday, March 15 at Port City Music Hall. Entitled The Maine Striper Sessions, all proceeds from the concert will benefit the Coastal Conservation Association-Maine.

“We are very excited to get this well-known, national act to be playing for such an incredible cause,” said Adam Taylor, CCA-Maine Board member, partner with the law firm of Taylor, McCormack & Frame and the planner of the concert. “Regardless of whether you fish, walk on the beach or just enjoy looking out across the ocean, there’s no denying that the sea is one of Maine’s most valuable natural resources and an integral part of our lifestyle and culture. It’s in everyone’s best interest to ensure that our oceans remain as pristine as possible and the money raised during this event will allow CCA-Maine to help continue to do just that. ”

Ryan Wimbish will take the stage as the opening act. In addition to the music, there will be a variety of raffle and silent auction items including outdoor gear, trips, and more. Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door, and VIP tickets for $30.

CCA-M is Maine’s only grassroots volunteer and nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Maine’s marine resources for the enjoyment of everyone.
