AUGUSTA — State energy officials say heating oil prices have fallen in Maine for the third week in a row.

The Governor’s Energy Office said Tuesday that its weekly price survey shows Mainers are paying an average of $3.73 a gallon for No. 2 oil. That’s down a nickel a gallon from a week ago and is 13 cents lower than this time last year.

Kerosene prices fell six cents to an average of $4.19 a gallon, but propane rose a penny a gallon, to $2.77.
