AUBURN — Simone J. Taylor, 87, a resident of 146 Broad St., Auburn, died unexpectedly Monday, March 11, at her home.

She was born in Auburn, April 25, 1925, the daughter of Joseph and Florida (Doyon) Berthiume.

Simone loved her family and was an at home Mom all her life. Her husband, Ralph E. Taylor predeceased her on July 9, 2005, whom she had missed very much since his passing.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Taylor and wife, Lois, of Thomson, Ga., and Michael Taylor and wife, Carol, of Otisfield; two daughters, Pamela Miller of North Haverhill, N.H., and Patricia Virgilo and husband, Jim, of Leesburg, Fla.; one sister, Celia Nelson and husband, Leland, of Dade City, Fla.; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; as well as her neighbor and good friend, Pete Vondell.
