MEXICO — The Police Department responded to 64 incidents over the last week. Among them were:
Thefts
* A Sun Valley Circle resident reported at 6:06 p.m. March 14 that someone broke into her storage unit and stole a computer. It’s not known when it happened. The computer was valued at $200. Police have no suspects.
* A Granite Street resident reported at 1:08 p.m. March 13 that someone entered her home and stole numerous items, including a computer and digital equipment. Police have a suspect and are determining if it’s a civil or criminal case.
Arrests
* At 8:10 p.m. March 7 police received a report from the Recreation Center of a child being assaulted. Police arrested Lionel Parent, 40, of Rumford on a felony charge of assaulting a child under the age of 6. He was later released from Oxford County Jail and is to appear May 7 in Oxford County Superior Court.
