BUCKFIELD — A Back Bryant Road man lost his mobile home in a late-night fire Saturday.
Fire Chief Tim Brooks said the call came in to 911 at 11:18 p.m. Saturday with homeowner Paul Jordan reporting an overheated wood stove.
“He tried to use a fire extinguisher on it” to no avail, Brooks said. “When we pulled up, it was fully involved.”
The home at 19 Back Bryant Road was destroyed. It wasn’t insured.
Firefighters stayed on the scene for three hours. Paris, Hebron, Turner, Sumner and Buckfield responded. There were no reports of injuries.
