NORWAY — The Daughter of Union Veterans of the Civil War 1861-1865 Hannah F. Richardson Tent 19 held their first meeting of the year Feb. 26 at the home of Marilyn Jones.

Installation of officers was held. Past president and long time member Elaine Lagueux was installing officer. Sister Barbara Robinson served as chaplain.

The charter was draped in memory of Eleanor Lowe, past national president of the G.A.R. (ladies group), also two real daughters and two real sons.

A committee was formed to write new bi-laws for Tent 19 consisting of Marilyn Jones, Dayle Burnell and Barbara Robinson.

New member Cayla Heath received her membership badge. It was pinned by president Jones.

Brenda Woods won the mystery prize which was donated by Sylvia Grover.

The next meeting will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at the same location.
