TURNER — The annual Project Graduation Auction will take place Saturday, March 23, in the cafeteria of Leavitt Area High School. Preview hour begins at 9 a.m. as does the silent auction featuring articles in the $10-$20 range.

First call by auctioneer Brian Marshall will be at 10 a.m. Everyone is invited to bid on the items assembled by the 2013 committee. There’s something for everyone, from cross country skis and snowshoes to stove pellets to Red Sox tickets.

Excursions include a two-night yurt stay at the Great Outdoors, passes to Storyland and tickets on the Downeaster. Other items include artwork, a telescope, knit and quilted items, homemade goodies and a wood-crafted children’s table and chairs.

In addition, there will be a variety of theme baskets for raffle and certificates for items such as restaurant meals, vehicle care, firewood, loam, pool water, beauty care, massage, art classes, golf, skiing and a three-month family membership at the Auburn-Lewiston YMCA.

Breakfast and lunch fare will be available in the Auction Cafe, and any leftovers will be auctioned in the final half-hour, sometime around 1:30 p.m.

Cash contributions will continue to be accepted up to the June graduation event and may be mailed to LAHS Project Grad, P.O. Box 96, Turner, ME 04282. Project Graduation offers a safe, chem-free, celebration.
